Marisa Hughes is a licensed educational psychologist (LEP No. 3486) who has dedicated her career to supporting families and children with and without disabilities since 2015.

With a wealth of experience across school districts, private schools, and regional center agencies, Marisa works with individuals ranging from preschool through young adulthood (ages 3–21). She became a licensed educational psychologist with two core purposes:

• To strengthen the relationship between school and home for children with disabilities

• To improve children's wellbeing by identifying their unique needs, teaching coping skills for their current life experiences, and instilling a foundation of worthiness, self-respect, and confidence

Before launching her private practice, Marisa spent over a decade in direct service roles, including:

• Three years as a youth director for middle and high school groups

• Six years as an in-home behavioral interventionist working with children with autism

• Supporting parents as a family behavioral instructor when their children exhibited challenging behaviors or were diagnosed with autism spectrum disabilities

Marisa's hands-on experience and deep understanding of both educational systems and family dynamics uniquely position her to deliver compassionate, effective assessments and consultation services.
